Hudson River Park offers tons of sport activities from bicycling to beach volleyball. Here are some of the activities you can explore.

FREE – Walking Tour of Greenwich Village – Sundays in July and August departing at 3:30pm and 4:15pm . Pier 66 A at West 26th Street outside the Frying Pan

Trapeze – Cross at West Houston in Green Village at Pier 40- Flying Trapeze, Trampoline and More. You have to sign up for a class which is around $40. For example a trampoline on July 22 is from 7-8pm and costs $40.

Rock Climbing at West 20 or 22nd Street at Chelsea Piers. Open All year. Two rock Climbing walls – 30 feet high. Cost is $25.

Beach Volleyball – Cross at N. Moore Street at Pier 25 in Tribeca. Three courts. Must be 12+. $5. Learn more.

Tennis – Open all Year from 6am to midnight. FREE. Three courts, no permit required. Anyone can play. Surfaces are hardcourt. Open on a first come, first serve basis. Learn more.

Swimming – Cross at West 55th Street at Pier 96 in Clinton. Only permitted within sanctioned, organized events.  A bit of a hassle. Here’s the info.

Sun Bathing – Pier 96 (Cross at 55th), Pier 84 (Cross at 44th), Pier 64 and 63(Cross at 24th St. ), 14th Street (cross at 14th) and Pier 45 (cross at Christopher St. in Greenwich Village)

Skate Parks – Pier 62 – cross at West 22nd and Tribeca – cross at N. Morre at Pier 25

Mini Golf – Cross at N. Moore at Pier 24 in Tribeca – 18 hole miniature golf course. Learn more. $5 for kids, $6 for adults

Carousel – Cross at West 22nd at Pier 62 in Chelsea, 11am to 7pm weekdays, and 11am to 8pm on weekends. Must be 42 inches tall to ride along. Learn more. $3 a ticket
