Wendt Beach– Romantic Beach in Evans, NY. First, check the weather as Buffalo is one of those places where it is sunny outside your window but raining 10 miles away. Wendt Beach, along with Bennett Beach, are probably the most romantic beaches because they are more natural and away from the city. You should check on whether swimming is permitted, but regardless the beach is great.
Wendt Beach Park is a 170-acre lake front estate and was used as the Henry W. Wendt, Jr. family’s summer residence. And, now you can enjoy it FREE.
