Hypertufa Workshop and Draped Planter Demo

    Saturday, April 28, 2018, 10:30 am

Lyn Chimera will be helping you create your own hypertufa planter in this popular class. Hypertufa is relatively light compared with terracotta or traditional concrete and can withstand harsh winters. You will learn the formula to mix and then apply it to a mold. Once you know the process, you can design many different sizes and shapes of containers. Hypertufas are especially favored for mini hostas or succulent gardens.

Lyn will also do a demo of the newly popular draped concrete planter. These use a towel soaked in concrete and applied to an inverted container that creates a pleated effect on the circumference of the pot.

Workshop and demo are $35 and include supplies for the hypertufa. Class is limited to 15 people.
