Evanston Parde is July 4 at 2pm and  Fireworks are July 4th at 9:15pm at Clark Street Beach, 1700 Sheridan Road and Church St., Evanston.

Lawn chairs may be placed along Central street beginning July 1st, 6:00 AM in accordance with City ordinance.

  • 9:00 am – games and activities for all ages at nine playground sites throughout the city
  • 12:45 pm – Fun Run along Central Street
  • 2:00 pm – Parade on Central Street
  • 7:30 pm – concert at the lakefront- Palatine Concert Band- Dawes Park Lagoon
  • 9:30 pm – the grand fireworks display
