If you love nature, go the Allegany Nature Pilgrimage at Allegany State Park on May 31 to June 2, 2019! You can come for the day, two days or the entire 2.5 days. Registration is $25 to 30 in advance for the weekend, or $25 for a day or $45 for the weekend if you register on day of. Ages 12-17 are $5 and kids 11 and under are FREE.
Here is why you should go–it is fun, you are with other people who love nature, and you get select hourly walks and talks that feature a wide range of topics. And, all are included in your fee.
Friday night speaker is Jared Miller, TV host of Animal Explorations and on Saturday night – Hazel Stark and Joe Horn from Maine Outdoor School.
The Boy Scouts have hot dogs, chips and soda on Saturday Noon. Saturday night you can sign up for chicken BBQ or Vegan dinners. Or, bring your own food and beverages. Breakfast is on your own so bring something if you stay overnight.
You can come for the day, or camp or get a cabin.
