Roycroft Film Society featuring Three Colors Red on June 9, 2019 at 4pm will be held at the Roycroft Power House at 39 S. Grove due to construction at the school.
Normally they are at the Parkdale Elementary School at 141 Girard Street. (Route 400, Maple St exit, right off exit onto Maple, Right on Girard, School on left, entrance on left). $8 or $20 for single membership or $30 for a family.
Three Colors Red – Part-time model Valentine (Irène Jacob) meets a retired judge (Jean-Louis Trintignant) who lives in her neighborhood after she runs over his dog. At first the judge gifts Valentine with the dog, but her possessive boyfriend won’t allow her to keep it. When she returns with the dog to the judge’s house, she discovers him listening in on his neighbors’ phone conversations. At first Valentine is outraged, but her debates with the judge over his behavior soon leads them to form a strange bond.
