Niagara Frontier Botanical Society Meeting is January 10, 2023 at 7:30pm at 4225 Harlem Road, Snyder. The Speaker is David Spiering explaining where invasive and native plants occur.
Tuesday, January 10, 2023: “Adaptive Management and Plant Community Ecology.” Speaker, David Spiering will use principles from plant community ecology to help explain where invasive and native plants occur and why invasive species control and restoration efforts might succeed or fail, using restoration projects from WNY as examples. Dave is currently Great Lakes Habitat Restoration Coordinator, is also past president of NFBS and was previously the naturalist at Tifft Nature Preserve.
General meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month, September through May (excepting April) at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4225 Harlem Road, one block south of Main Street in Snyder. All General Meetings are open to the public and are free of charge.
