Photos From the Terrific Niagara Falls Blues Fest –Sauce Boss Was Awesome! Every band delivered a first class concert and if you have never gone, go next year as this is a festival not to miss. First, we went on Saturday but heard that Spencer Mackenzie was great on Friday.
Sauce Boss with Traveling Gumbo Show– the Sauce Boss can play that guitar and is an excellent musician as was his band. Add the pot on gumbo on stage with audience members stirring and his interaction with the crowd and it was fun WITH great music. After the set, the audience got a bowl of gumbo–we had it and it was good! They sell the hot sauce.
Dave Weld and the Imperial Flames- overall good and we were impressed by the sax player, Roger Randle JR. –wow can he play
Waye Baker Brooks– great guitarist with a band that delivered. From Chicago.
Tommy Z- our own talent rounding out the evening
Kelly Hunt and the Five- by 7+ hrs, we went home.
