Intense Fall Hike at Franklin Gulf Park– October 18, 2025 from 10am to 1pm led by Erie County Park Ranger. Bounded by Sandrock Road to the north, Larkin Road to the east and School Street to the south.
We went there for the first time this summer- Orange trail along the creek- it was beautiful. The orange trail is 2.5 miles and since it was 100 degrees the last part was strenous given the heat. But, we’d do it again. Very nice hemlocks. These are photos from our hike. There are a few streams you have to cross but ok.
Franklin Gulf Park is the winner of Buffalo Spree Magazine’s The Best of WNY 2015: Most Beautiful Under-The-Radar Park award.
