Which is Worse- Trump Asking for Another $200 Billion for Iran War or Mullin for Homeland Security?
Yesterday, March 18, Trump asked for another $200 Billion for the war in Iran while he implies the war will be over in a few weeks. And, he sent 2500 Marines and 2500 sailors to the war region in mid-March. Plus, he wants to drag Europe into his Mideast and Asian (because they get oil from Houmz) into the war. It is already a Mideast and Asian War–bringing in Europe- WWIII.
While the percentages vary, Asian gets a lot of their oil from the Strait of Hormuz- 38% China, 15% India, 13% S. Korea, 10% – Japan, 4% Europe, 3%- USA. Source
And, then their is Markwayne Mullin (two first names??) who is being nominated to lead the Department of Homeland Security. In a few words- he is a bully. Given ICE’s draconian behavior, is this the best candidate for this office? This is a man who said ICE agents were justified in murdering Renee Good and called Alex Pretti deranged and both domestic terrorists. Renee who was a devoted Christian who went to Northern Island on youth missions, mother of three children and a member of the school board. Meanwhile, Alex Pretti was an intensive care nurse for US Dept of Veteran Affairs.
During the Congressional hearing, Rand Paul called Mullin out for saying Pual deserved to be assaulted from behind and called the Kentucky Republican a “freaking snake” in February for trying to block the passage of a funding bill and had said he understood why a neighbor attacked Paul in 2017, leaving him with six broken ribs and serious damaged lung. Mullin replied that he is a “blunt” person.
