Wondering Why Your Ebay Sales Are down 50%+- Promo FEES!

Wondering why my ebay sales were down 62%, I investigated. Apparently, you have to promote your product to sell it- 35% to 68% of the items I sell – fossils and rocks and minerals are promoted.  See attached charts. Ebays fees: 66% of $5 item, 46% on $10,39% on $15 item, and 37% on $20 item. So much for the 13%. See attached. Check at bottom of listing page what percent is promoted and their suggested percentage (if you put in a low percentage- does nothing).

And, from what I read, ebay double charges their fee on shipping and buyer’s sales tax (13% and 12% promoted).
