There are three Kansas City Chief players from Buffalo high schools- Demone Harris, Ryan Hunter and Jody Fortson. Harris attended Bishop Timon – St. Jude High School in Buffalo where he focused on basketball and did not play football until his junior year. Harris attended the University at Buffalo where he walked on to the football team and redshirted as a freshman. Hunter attended Canisius High School, and played for the school’s football team. He was named the best offensive lineman in Western New York, and shared 2012 The Buffalo News Player of the Year Award with teammate Qadree Ollison. Fortson attended Erie Community College.
For the Bengals, Mason Schreck played college football with the UB Bulls at Buffalo.
