Congressman Nick Langworthy Supports Tariffs which will create price hikes from cars, to food to gasoline. Think brown nose when you think of Nick Langworthy- he supports his career and not us. And, unfortunately, he is not alone. Until Congress pushes back on Trump initiatives, we might as well not have a Congress to represent us. Executive Actions have gotten way out of control–we now have a dictator-autocrat. Langworthy says people voted for Trump and knew he supported tariffs….what people voted for was lower prices. Maybe he should be encouraging Trump to revoke those tariffs.
As of February 4, both Mexico and Canadian US tariffs are on hold FOR 30 DAYS. So, we shall see if Trump folds given corporate and individual outcries, or if they are reinstated.
Here is the lastest from Canada- $155 Billion Tariff package on US. AND, Canada only represent 1.5% of illegal immigrats crossing the border and 1% of Fentanyl. Mexico and immigrats from South American account of the majority of illegal immigrations and China and Mexico for Fentanyl. So, why did we put a 25% tarrif on Canada?????
Due to tarrifs, NOW is a good time to go to Aldi’s and to Fill Up the Gas Tank- BoredomMD.com. Our favorite Aldi’s is at Transit and Losson in Depew. Meatballs, fruit, vegggies, paper products, ribs–all at a good price. We do however, get our chicken from Tops (which given bird flu–likely to go up in future weeks). And, don’t forget Dollar Tree. We get a lot of food from Mexico and Oil that is refined into gas from Canada – we get 60% of crude oil imports from them. Gas is probably going to go up $1-2/gal. Canada just announced more than $100 million in retaliatory tarrifs. The net result –US, Canada and Mexico-recession…
