Comparison of Senate Versus House– Now House Votes- Big Beautiful Bill- July 2, 2025. Senate passed bill with changes, now House decides what to do. The HOUSE passed the Big Beautiful Bill this afternoon, July 3. Your children will bear this brunt of debt. Not clear on what might be different than the Senate bill and the original House bill.

Differences- Senate would raise Debt by $5 trillion, House by $4 Trillion. Food Stamps- Senate verison- veterans, homless and former foster youth and parents of Children 14 and oler have to work to get benefits plus raises age to 64. Senate – cuts Medicaid funding for one year for Planned Parenthood and includes at $25 billion relief fund fo rural hospitals. Senate version- increase senior citizens deduction to $6000 vs. House $4000. Senate version places cap on taxation for tips to $25,000. Interestingly, no mention of the permanent tax reduction for corporations and renewal of Trump’s 2017 program.
