Lantern Parade on Hoyt Lake at Delaware Park on August 11 at 8:30pm when there is a new moon. At 8pm people will launch their small crafts which at lit with Japanese lanterns suspended by poles or headlights and headlamps. FREE
The crafts should be outfitted with some sort of lantern, whether the light source is derived from lights sticks, running lights, headlights. Rowers and paddlers should also have personal floatation devices on their boats.
