In 2025, Alex launched a new solo project called Strings Unbound: An Evening with Alex Cousins, which features the electric cello as the lead instrument alongside a seven-piece band performing reimagined popular music covers spanning the last 50 years. The project is set to debut at The Caz in Buffalo, New York, on April 17, 2025 and promises to be a spectacle of an event, with Alex’s virtuoso cello playing and a band of Buffalo’s top-tier musical talent on full display.
