Nosferatu Horror Film in Transylvanian Castle at Lancaster Opera House on October 15, 2022 at 7:30pm at 21 Central Avenue, Lancaster. Kurt Coble, a composer and Broadway musician, has written a new score for the film and created an array of automated musical instruments to play it. Part player piano, part steampunk rock concert. This, along with a few other surpises will make it a special night for the Halloween season. Tickets are $15.
In this highly influential silent horror film, Mysterious Count Orlok (Max Schreck) summons Thomas Hutter to his remote Transylvanian castle in the mountains. The eerie Orlok seeks to buy a house near Hutter and his wife, Ellen. After Orlok reveals his vampire nature, Hutter struggles to escape the castle, kowing that Ellen is in grave danger. Meanwhile Orlok’s servant, Knock prepares for his master to arrive at his new home.
