Castle by Candlelight at Old Fort Niagara is December 14 at 6:30-8:15pm. Tour the French Castle, lit entirely by candles plus holiday decorations. Musket and cannon firings at 7pm and 7:45pm. Tickets are $15 and  $25  at the door. Dress for the weather, walking footwear and bring a flashlight.
Visitors will meet historical characters – soldiers, Native Americans, fur traders, skilled artisans and camp followers – and do hands-on activities like writing with a quill pen, plus music, cooking demonstrations, Native dancing, campfires.
Cameras, recorders, laser pointers, night vision and paranormal apparatus are prohibited.
