West Lakeview Menorah Lighting at 3460 N. Broadway on December 23 at 5pm. In addition to the 15 foot Menorah, they will also light a unique large ICE Menorah. 5pm – Ice Menorah and balloon artist, 5:45pm Menorah Lighting with songs by Chazzan Alberto Mizrahi from Anshe Emet. Following the lighting, they will have a FIRE SHOW and Gelt Drop from a fire truck. Live Music, Latkes, Hot Soup. FREE
Menorah Lighting at Westfield Old Orchard in Cube Park. This event will have kosher refreshments, entertainment, the lighting of the Menorah and lots of Jewish holiday spirit on December 22 and 23, 2019 from 5-7pm.
Evanston Menorah Lighting at Evanston Fountain Square on December 23, 2019 at 5:30pm. The ceremony will celebrate light over darkness, good over evil and the freedom of conscience over oppression. Music and entertainment will be provided along with refreshments. Fountain Square is located on Davis Street between Orrington and Sherman Avenues. FREE.
Grand Menorah Lighting at Giddings Plaza at 4731 N. Lincoln- On Sunday, December 22nd at 3pm sharp join Chabad of Lakeview as we light the Grand Menorah in Giddings Plaza. Then join us following the lighting inside Uncle Dan’s at 4724 N. Lincoln for holiday festivities for the entire family, music, hot latke’s and donuts and children’s entertainment.
Menorah lighting at Krier Plaza- December 24 at 6pm at Oakton St and Niles Center Road- Krier Plaza..Chocolate will be dropping from the sky, for a magical twist on a traditional favorite.
