Beyond Van Gogh Comes to Buffalo Outside Eastern Hills Mall from August 20 to October 3, 2021 features 300 works in a surround 360 degree experience. It has been touring around the country and we are lucky to get it.
However, having gone to the preview yesterday, August 12th, after driving from East Aurora to Williamsville, they were just putting up the tent (see photo). Said would be ready at end of month. We emailed them and they said ” we are receiving a large volume of emails at the moment” (yeah, I bet) and they would be back to us and it has been postponed to end of August. All affected ticket holders have been sent an email with instructions for rescheduling tickets” – well at the tent they said 100 people showed up so who did they send these instructions to? The EXACT same thing happened in Austin, Texas, Philadelphia, etc.
It will be here for 12 weeks inside a 35,000 square foot mobile museum with 35 foot ceilings, air condition or heat.
