Christmas Tree Lighting at Millennium Park at Randolph and Michigan Aves. is November 22 at 6pm featuring the tree lighting, Santa Claus and live music. Grammy® Award-winning artist Jonathan Butler who grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, and recently released his second Christmas album, Christmas Together. Also performing will be Cielito Lindo, a modern Latino Mariachi made up of the 9-member Lucero family.
The McCormick Tribune Ice Rink also will open Nov. 15 at 12 noon, with skating continuing through March 8, 2020. Free; skate rental is $13 Monday to Thursday and $15 weekends and holidays. Free Ice Skating Lessons too. Plus there’s more skating across the bridge at the Skating Ribbon in Maggie Daley Park at 337 E. Randolph.
The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival is on November 22 from 4-8pm and from 11am to 4pm on November 23 with a parade and fireworks on Nov 23. 401 N. Michigan Ave.
