Feast by Torn Space Theater at Silo City on August 17-18 at 7pm. Tickets are $30.
This intimate production will feature award winning local chefs Steve and Ellen Gedra of The Black Sheep. At sundown we will join together to celebrate light, to contemplate the passage of time and witness transformation. Circled around an old cottonwood tree we will engage in light, sound, performance, drink and food as the sun sets into the darkness. A table will be custom designed for the guests and act as the performance space; as speeches, images, and specially prepared experiences begin to take over.
Act 1 – Seed: Barley cake with sesame tahini and goat cheese
Act 2 – Root: Potato skordalia with mullet roe
Act 3 – Sprout: Savory olive oil cake with sprouted lentils
Act 4 – Flower: Edible Flowers
Act 5 – Fruit: Blueberries, red wine, honey
