Men’s base ball teams will square off for the Mayor’s Cup Championship trophy. The consolation game will be played Saturday at 1:30 pm, and the championship game on Sunday at 2:00 pm. Both games will be held in Silver Base Ball Park, the only replica 1800s base ball park in the nation. GCV&M’s ladies’ base ball hosts the final game of the season on Sunday at 12:30 pm on the Great Meadow.

Annual Cast Iron Chef Competition will take place Saturday on the Great Meadow! Starting at 10 am three skilled chefs are given an open fire, period-appropriate receipts (recipes) and heirloom produce from the museum’s gardens with which to prepare historical dishes.  At 2 pm the chef’s creations head to our judges’ table for sampling and to declare the winner.
