Guided Kayak Ecotours of Niagara River Islands starting May 15, 2018 at the Bluewater Marina, Grand Island, NY.
Ecotours follow a four mile course and are approximately three hours long. Previous paddling experience although helpful is not required. All tour participants are provided with a kayak, paddle, life jacket and required safety equipment.
The ecotour is $74 person and there is a 20% percent discount for two or more paddlers. They also rent single for $25 and tandem kayaks for $35. To make a reservation, call 716-773-7884 .
The islands, marshes and shoals around the south end of Grand Island, more than 15 miles above the falls, are home to the Bald Eagle, Great Blue Heron, Common Egret and a host of native fauna and flora. Paddle along with our expert guide at a leisurely pace and learn about the history, culture and ecology of the mighty Niagara River.
