Halloween Fun in Evanston features Zombie Scramble, Downtown Evanston Halloween Parade and Party, Little Monster Halloween Bash and Trick or Treat Trot for Tails.
October 27 – the Downtown Evanston Halloween Parade & Party, bring your costumed kids to trick-or-treat at downtown businesses starting at noon to 3pm and participate in Halloween activities.
Saturday, October 27- from 10am to NoonTrick-or-Treat Trot for Tails Walkathon, a fundraiser for Evanston Animal Shelter, is a dog and family-friendly event. Participants sign up to walk, create a fundraising goal and raise money from friends and family. The 2-mile walk heads from Centennial Park to Lee Street and back. (10 a.m. – noon, Centennial Park, 1821 Sheridan Rd., $10 for individual, $25 for a team of 4.)

October 20- Zombie Scramble on October 20 at 5:30pm to 8pm and is a two-mile race where participants must avoid having “zombies” grab flags from flag football belts. If you lost all your flags, you become an “infected” racer.The event will begin south of the Rotary Friendship Garden in the Ladd Arboretum. You get a t-shirt and it is your admission.Registration is $20. More info.
October 21-BCBoo Little Monster Mash Halloween Bash will feature a DJ, dancing, light dinner, trick-or-treating, spooky games..Register online. (4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., Little Beans Café, 430 Asbury Ave., Evansston. For ids under 7. Adults are $10, kids are $15.
