Lewiston Smelt Festival on May 3 from 5pm to 10pm at Academy Park (new location). 890 Center Street, Lewiston.

The highlight is the Friday night Smelt Dip and Fry conducted by the Niagara River Anglers Association on the waterfront starting at 6 p.m. This event is free to the public.
