Tuesday, April 14, 2026 –“Chicken Coop to Nature Snoop: How to See Nature through the Eyes of Aldo Leopold”
Dr. Knapp will share insights on the great naturalist, forester, conservationist, professor, and writer, Aldo Leopold. Considered the father of wildlife ecology and management, Leopold formulated the concept of a land ethic, a cornerstone of the American conservation movement, in his 1949 book, A Sand County Almanac.
Our speaker is Professor of Intercultural Studies & Biology at Houghton College.
