Alex McArthur Quartet with John Troy wowed the crowds at the Lewiston Jazz Festival with the first half of their concert just incredible on Saturday. Vibrant Strings were great as well as Janet Evra. We also heard that the Kevin Hall Band was good too but we weren’t able to check them out–but will.
On Friday, word of mouth said Benny Benack and Emmett Cohen were great as well as the Air Force Rythm in Blues band (which we saw a week ago at Roycroft lawn and they were awesome there as well).
If you have never gone to the Lewiston (Northeast) Jazz Festival, put it on your calendar for next year. Incredible opportunity to listen to dozens of great musical performers for FREE.
