Martin Luther King’s Jr events in January, 2023 as follows:

1.   MLK Day of Caring– January 16, 2023- Michigan African Heritage. Schedule of Events

2. Winterfest in Tonawanda – January 15, 2023.  Wine Tasting, Chili Tasting, Beer Garden, Magic Show, Hay Rides,  Live Music, Hockey Games, Outdoor Soft Ball, Fireworks, Skating, Swimming, Model Boats,Skating Pizza Party.  Lincoln Arena, 1200 Parker Blvd., Tonawanda

3. MLK Day of Service at UB on January 16,2023 from 9:30am to 12:30pm.This year, they will have a virtual volunteering/education event as well as an in-person service activity. RSVP to the event to be the first to know about the service sites and virtual educational opportunities!

4. Pay What You Can Admission to the Buffalo Museum of Science 10am to 4pm- January 16, 2023. 1020 Humboldt Parkway, Buffalo.

5.  Rainbow Rink – 101 Oliver Street, N. Tonawanda –January 16, 2023- Noon to 4pm. Cost is $10 – $4 for skate rental. Also in Lockport- Rainbow Skateland, 1109 Lincoln Avenue

6. Rotary Rink – 40 Fountain Plaza, Buffalo. January 16, 2023- 11am to 9pm. Free – skate rental $2 for kids, $3 for adults

7. Lasertron – 5101 N. Bailey Ave., Amherst. Will have a special promo. Check the link or call 833-8766

8. Open Skating and Ice Bikes at Canalside– Ice Fest- Janauary 15, 2023. Plus, public skating on January 16 from 10am to 7pm.  Ages 13+- $8, Skate Rental $5

9. Buffalo History Museum – January 16 from 3pm to 5pm – speaker- Dr. Douglas Houston presenting on John Henryism in America. FREE

10. Buffalo Botanical Gardens- Kids get in Free January 16, 2023. 2655 S. Park. 10am to 4pm.

12=1. Aquarium of Niagara– $7.16 OFF admission Saturday through Monday – 9am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday, 9 to 5pm on Monday- Tickets

Sledding, Skiing, Snowmobiling in City, County and State Parks (if snow)
