June 14– 1pm to 2:30pm – Celebrate pride with exploration of nature that doesn’t quite fall into clear-cut patterns. Meet at William Pryor Letchworth Museum.

June 16- 2pm to 3:30pm- Meet the resilient trees that inspired the expression “living life on the ledge!” These hikes are flat and easy and meet on the third Tuesday of the month. Awe at aged conifers clinging to the canyon! Enjoy an often overlooked overlook. Meet at South Highbanks Picnic Shelter. (2 miles)

June 17– 10am to 1:30pm -For those who enjoy the demand of a longer hike, we will traverse the length of Letchworth in 5 segments. During the span of these hikes we will enjoy the three canyons of Letchworth as well as trails along the middle section of the park, an interglacial valley. Bring a lunch. Will carpool. Explore tributary ravines as we traverse one of the parks newest trails. Meet at the Smokey Hollow Pull-off. (42.67100, -77.97264). (3.5 miles)

June 19 -4-5pm -Learn to Disc Golf.Fling some discs with them on the new course. Learn the difference between a putter vs a driver, hyzer vs anhyzer, backhand vs flick. We’ll bring the discs. Meet at South Highbanks Shelter.

June 19 -8:30pm to 10pm – Sit and watch fireflies. Meet at Lower St. Helena parking area.

June 20– 10am to 11am. Geology for Kids. Meet at Octagon bulding at Lower Falls  Parking area past Cabin Area B. 1 mile

June 20– 1-3pm- Crayfish Crawl-Come explore the rocky bottom of the Genesee River to look for the elusive crayfish. We will be in the river looking for crayfish. Waterproof footwear is recommended. Nets will be provided. Meet at the Lower Falls Restaurant parking area. (2 miles)

June 20– 1-3pm – Hiking Class- Navigation-Take your hiking skills to the next level with this series of remote hikes for teens and up. By the end of the series, you’ll be able to impress your friends with new skills and new confidence hiking tougher trails. Tips and tricks on using hiking apps, compasses, and the park’s trail maps. June 21– 7:30pm to 9:30pm – Summer Solstice Sunset Stroll. Meet at Hogsback Overlook- 3-4 miles
