June 21– 7:30pm to 9:30pm – Summer Solstice Sunset Stroll. Meet at Hogsback Overlook- 3-4 miles
June 22- 10:30am to 11:30am- Knee High Naturalist.The Knee-High Naturalists program is designed to allow children ages 3-6 to explore the natural world. Themes change with each program, and activities include storybook reading, crafts and a short nature walk. Space is limited – registration is required by calling 585-493-3680. Adults must accompany children at all times. Meet at Humphrey Nature Center.
June 25 – 10am to 1:30pm – Silver Lake Outlet to Hogsback. For those who enjoy the demand of a longer hike, we will traverse the length of Letchworth in 5 segments. During the span of these hikes we will enjoy the three canyons of Letchworth as well as trails along the middle section of the park, an interglacial valley. Bring a lunch. Will carpool. Follow along the Silver Lake Outlet and enter the southern portion of the parks widest canyon, the Highbanks Canyon. Meet at the Gibsonville Trailhead
June 27– 10-11am – Nature Scavenger Hunt. Come on a fun scavenger hunt in the natural world! Prizes for completion. Meet at Humphrey Nature Center. (0.5 miles)
June 28 – 1-3pm – FREE Fishing Day.Learn how to fish at this Free Fishing Day event. No fishing license is required to fish on a Free Fishing Day. Everyone welcome, regardless of fishing ability or experience. Fishing rods and bait provided. Meet at Trout Pond
