Niagara Frontier Botanical Society  Field Trip on July 2- Gardens of NFBS Members –Thursday, July 2, 4:30 p.m.:  Personal Gardens of NFBS member Barbara Evans and Barbara Sandel/Scott Schaerer.   Meet at Barbara Evans’ home, 67 Taverly Drive, Williamsville.  Barbara’s amazing garden includes 140 different varieties of Clematis, which should be at peak bloom on this date.  We will drive on to see the garden of Barbara Sandel & Scott Schaerer, 38 Richfield in Wiliamsville.  They are generously offering us a light refreshment. Call Joanne Schlegel if you wish to attend, 835-6042.

Barbara Evans Garden-

Her garden is also open that day as an Open Garden from 2-6 PM, as part of the events of GardensBuffaloNiagara. Therefore, visitors may be present who are not NFBS members. As such, certain requirements must be followed by ALL visitors:

Wear an appropriate face mask.
Practice physical distancing.
Do not touch anything.
No more than 10 people at a time in the garden
Fill out a contact form in the event contact tracing is necessary.

She asks additionally to please NOT park in the driveway as this blocks the entrance to the back garden area. Visitors will see the Open Garden sign on the lawn and the house number is on the mailbox. Hand sanitizer will be available.

GENERAL MEETINGS
General meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month, September through May (except April) at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Road, one block south of Main Street in Snyder (except April meeting). All General Meetings are open to the public and free of charge.
