Photos-Grand Funk Railroad were Terrific at Erie County Fair on Friday and it was clear why they were one of the top  bands of the 1970’s and they have not lost their touch.By 1971, Grand Funk equalled  The Beatles Shea Stadium attendance record, but sold out the venue in just 72 hours whereas the Beatles concert took a few weeks to sell out. Between 1969 and 1972 they had 7 albums in the top 30 and 4 in the top 10. Don Brewer on Drums, Max Carl on Guitar, Bruce Kulick on Guitar, Tim Cashion on Keyboards

After Grand Funk, we took  in Hit N’ Run in a tent with an enthusiastic crowd going the conga and they delivered a great performance as well.

What else is there–Grand Funk, Hit N’ Run, BW Ribs, Twist Ice Cream Cone and beautiful weather.

We encourage you to go to the fair as the weather we are having is the best in YEARS–last few have been very hot and humid.

There is a lot of great music so GO!
