The Coney Island Mermaid Parade is June 16. The parade starts at 1pm and is sure to entertain. It is the largest art parade in the US and showcases over 1500 creative individuals strutting their stuff and leans towards the gay community which means it will be great fun but might not be appropriate for young children or conservatives.
