Enjoy the season with the Christmas Tree Lighting at the Rotary Rink at Fountain Plaza (Main at Chippewa) on December 1 and bring along your skates as there is free ice-skating season at the rink. The event starts at 5pm with the countdown for lighting the tree at 6pm and Santa Claus.
Immediately following the tree lighting, the fun will continue with visits with Santa, holiday gifts, amusement rides for children, and ice-skating. Bring your own skates and enjoy free ice-skating. There is a $2.00 skate rental fee for children and $3.00 skate rental fee for adults. Santa will visit with children from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Free ice skating at the Rotary Rink continues from November 24 until March 17, 2019.
