Martin Luther King Jr Commemorative March is January 21, 2019 from 10am to 2pm. Manhattan Country School eighth-graders will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by taking to the streets of Manhattan to speak out about what they consider to be the most pressing civil rights issues of their time. FREE and open to the public and you may join the group at any point along the way.

Frederick Douglas Circle- Central Park West and 110th Street.

Stop #1: Frederick Douglass Circle (Central Park West and West 110th Street)
Cross to the north side of West 110th Street
Walk west to the northeast corner of West 110th Street and Amsterdam Ave, getting to:
Stop #2: Cathedral of Saint John the Divine (1047 Amsterdam Avenue at West 112th Street)
Walk north on the east side of Amsterdam Avenue
Turn right at the southeast corner of Amsterdam Avenue at West 113th Street
Cross to the east side of West 113th and Morningside Drive, getting to:
Stop #3: Morningside Park (West 113th Street and Morningside Drive)
Walk west on the south side of West 113th Street
Turn right on at the southwest corner of West 113th Street and Amsterdam Avenue
Walk north on Amsterdam Avenue, getting to:
Stop #4: Columbia University (Amsterdam and West 116th Street)
Walk south on the west side of Amsterdam Avenue
Turn right at the northwest corner of Amsterdam Avenue and West 113th Street
Walk south on the west side of Riverside Drive
Cross from the west to east side of Riverside Drive, getting to:
Stop #5: Joan of Arc Statue (Riverside Park and West 94th Street)
Walk to the west side of Riverside Drive
Walk south on the west side of Riverside Drive
Cross to from the west to the east side of Riverside Drive and West 86th Street
Walk east on the south side of 86th Street
Turn right at the southwest corner of 86th and Amsterdam Avenue
Walk south on Amsterdam Avenue
Cross from the southwest to the southeast corner of West 85th Street
Walk east on West 85th Street, getting to:
