If you are in NYC, you are probably going to want to join the Hudson Valley Explorer group– metal detectorists and archaeological society. They hold monthly metal detecting hunts, lost treasure searches, relic hunts, coin, gold, silver, jewelry hunts and seminars.

They have a meeting on the first Tuesday of each Month at 7pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2103 Route 6 in Brewster, NY.
