Perennial Plant Sale on May 25 from 10am to 2pm at 51 Meadow Drive off Maple St in East Aurora, NY.  Also by appt- jbarton@sterlingww.com.  Just ring the door bell!  If you have been to Lowe’s and garden centers, wait to you see their prices this year and lack of variety.

Plants- I dig them up while you wait so fresh (bring a bucket if you can or a bag)- you get a hunk- 5-8″. I have some plastic thick bags…

  2. Giant Grass- Natural Fence- $20 and you dig (10-12″ hunk)- Good for design and hide things -like neighbors.
  3. Evening Primrose- $3- perennial ($16 to $22)
  4. Solomon’s Seal- $3- perennial ($18 to $24 in stores)
  5. Moccachino Astilbe- White Bloom- Fern Like- $4- perennial
  6. Seeds for Yellow Blooming- Screamin’ Yellow Fake Indigo $2 for a bag
  7. Cornflower- $3 ($19)
  8. Cannas Bulbs- $3- maybe- I have to plant mine and see if there are any left.
