Rent a Model Boat for Sailing At Central Park. Bring your own boat, or rent one (no reservations are needed) – its $11 for 30 minutes. These aren’t motorized (they move with the wind) but you have a remote control that controls the trim of the sail and the direction of the rudder. Sounds like FUN!
You can rent the boats at the Conservatory Water on the East side of Central Park between 73rd and 75th Street. Use the 5th Avenue -76h Street entrance to the park. Look for green carts in front of Kerbs Boat House. If you have questions about the rentals, call 917-522-0054 .
