Springville- Concord Trail Walk– August 29, 2026 at 9:30am starting at the Shamel Milling parking lot at 9384 Genesee Road, East Concord.
This is their description of the walk:
Come enjoy a 4-5 mile walk along the trail with Mary Carol Dearing, Springville/Concord Friends leader and Brittany Hernon from the WNY Land Conservancy. Mary Carol and Brittany will help you identify native and non-native plants along the trail. We will start at Shamel Milling parking lot and head north or south on the trail depending on the interest of the group. We’ll turn around and return to our starting point whenever the group or individuals decide. This is a pretty, underutilized section of trail with lots of native flora to see.
Dress for a hike with sturdy shoes, and bring a snack, water, and bug spray, if desired. We’ll walk rain or shine. Start time: 9:30 am
