More INFO

Students research an area of science or engineering that intrigues them, put their findings into a presentation and then present their projects to volunteer Judges on Fair Day. Students with winning projects can participate in competitions such as  NYS Science Congress, Genius Olympiad, and the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF).

Students Grades 6 to 12 are welcome to register their project directly with the fair; no participation is a previous fair required.   Further information is on the Student’s Main Page on this site.

Teachers encouraging their students to participate is often just what it takes to motivate a student to undertake a project. Teachers can find information about the Fair on the Teacher’s Main Page.

Judges are encouraged to register on the Judge’s Main Page on this site.

Volunteers are needed on Fair Day to help make everything run smoothly. Further information is on the Volunteers Page.

What is Regeneron ISEF?

It’s an international science fair! Every year, tens of millions of students participate in science fairs around the globe. Still, only about 1,800 earn the right to compete for nearly $5 million awards bestowed each May at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). In 2023, this Fair will be an in-person gathering in Dallas, Texas. TWNYSF is entitled to send up to 2 students to ISEF Regeneron!
