Woodlawn Beach State Park and Beaver Island Beaches and Sunset Bay Beach Club are open with a few restrictions- the parking lot spaces have been reduced and bathrooms can only be at half capacity. 800 cars, half capacity -400 cars…so get there early.
Families are encouraged to set up ten feet apart and others 6 feet apart. And, if social distancing is not possible, you will need to wear a mask. Refrain from group activities- volleyball, football, etc. Picnic areas, playgrounds and concessions stands will also be closed.
Sunset Bay Beach Club opens at 10am.
Beaver Island and Woodlawn – 10am to 6pm
Bennett and Wendt Beaches opened on June 1st.
Evangola State Park Beach – open dawn to dusk with swimming. Again, social distancing.
